Focused preparation · Year 5 numeracy
Read the display. Explain the answer.
Learn how to read and compare column graphs, line graphs and two-way tables. Then work through 20 original, untimed questions using four clear data displays.
This path covers only data displays within Year 5 numeracy. It does not cover the full NAPLAN test or predict a result.
A learner saves the data-display goal and needs current learning access to open the lessons and questions.

How the route works
- 1. Check the display. Read the title, labels and scale before using a value.
- 2. Work with support. Follow worked examples, guided steps and hints in the linked lessons.
- 3. Apply the idea. Answer original questions about a graph or table, then read the worked feedback.
- 4. Revisit the gap. Each question links back to its lesson. Your usual lesson progress stays in your account.
The route in the learning tree
The saved plan includes 9 lessons in its full prerequisite route. These two are directly used in the questions. The earlier foundations stay available in the learning platform when a learner needs them.

What this covers
The official Year 5 proficiency descriptions include interpreting and comparing data in tables and graphs. These descriptions report typical skills, not a list of questions for one student.
The numeracy test spans six mathematics strands and uses multiple-choice, text-entry and interactive items. This practice covers one strand and one response format.
