Give an hour, fund a session
Give a little, and a family gets a tutor
Give money or give tutoring time — from a single session or a few dollars. Your gift funds scholarship places for families for whom cost is the barrier, so a child who needs a tutor gets one. Here’s exactly where it goes.
Two ways to give
Money, or time — both fund a place
You can give to the scholarship fund with money, or, if you tutor, with a few hours of your week. Both feed the same fund and open the same funded places.
Give money
Fund a session
Give as little as you like — from a few dollars to a full funded place. Every dollar goes into the scholarship fund and pays a tutor their full rate to teach a family who couldn’t otherwise afford it.
Give time
Give an hour
Tutors can donate part of their weekly teaching time — an hour a week, a few sessions a term. You teach a scholarship student at no charge to the family, and the fund goes further for everyone.
1 in 7
Tutoring is now used by at least one in seven Australian students — but mainly by the families who can pay for it. Your giving opens the same tutoring to families who can’t.

Where it goes
What your gift pays for
A scholarship place buys the same tutoring a paying family gets. Here is every part of it your gift covers.
The tutor, paid in full
A scholarship session pays the tutor their own advertised rate — the same rate a paying family would pay. A funded place is a full-price place; the family isn’t the one paying.
One pooled fund
Every gift joins the one scholarship pool the moment it arrives — no waiting for a particular place to open. The pool funds places as families need them, and a place is only offered once the pool covers the whole of it.
Free learning resources
Scholarship students get free access to the resource library — the same ready-to-run materials tutors use in sessions — so a funded place is a complete one, not a stripped-back version.
Your gift isn’t tied to one particular place — it joins the pool, and the pool funds places in full as families need them. Giving is one step: choose an amount, pay, done. The running totals on this page show what the fund has raised and funded.

For tutors
Give an hour a week
If you tutor with us, you can donate part of your teaching week instead of money. A single session can change a student’s term. Pledge a weekly commitment below — you teach a scholarship student at no charge to the family, and the fund goes further for everyone. You can update your pledge any time.
Not a tutor yet? Apply to tutor — then come back and pledge your time.
