- Is it really free to join?
- Yes. Joining is free and we don’t ask for payment details. You pay only when you book a lesson, at the rate on the tutor’s profile.
- Why do you ask for so little about my child?
- A tutoring match only needs a first name and a year level, so that’s all we collect. How those details are stored and used is set out in our privacy policy.
- What if a tutor’s rate is out of reach right now?
- Apply for a scholarship place. The program covers the whole cost — tutors donate the teaching hours (one-to-one normally starts at $30 an hour) and the platform adds free access to every learning resource, so you pay nothing. Applications are on the scholarship page.
- Can my teenager sign up on their own?
- Yes. If they are 16 or over (senior school, university or an adult learner) they pick “I’m 16+ signing up myself” and get their own account and student ID.
