Four steps: find and compare vetted tutors, book online or face-to-face, pay securely, and learn on the platform with shared resources and progress you can follow. Here’s exactly how each one works.

Step one

Find and compare tutors

Search the directory — no account needed to browse.

Filter tutors by subject, level, mode (online or face-to-face), price and availability. Every profile shows verified badges, qualifications, experience and the tutor’s own rate, so you can compare like for like. See what a profile shows.

Step two

Book your lesson

Online or face-to-face, at a time that suits.

Pick a time from the tutor’s availability and choose online or face-to-face. Booking runs on the learning platform, so everything lives in one place. For every lesson with a student under 18 — online or face-to-face — a parent or guardian adult must be present. You confirm this at booking, and it’s in our Terms.

Choosing online? Every online lesson is recorded, for safety and quality — you confirm you understand that at booking, and the recording stays private to you and your tutor. For an under-18, the parent or guardian joins the online room as a viewer. Face-to-face lessons aren’t recorded.

Prefer a scholarship place? Apply through the platform — eligible students learn at no cost, funded by donations.

Step three

Pay securely

Payments run through Stripe — you see the price first.

You pay the tutor’s advertised rate through Stripe. See what you’ll pay on the pricing page.

  • Pay per lesson — no joining fee, no lock-in
  • The tutor’s rate is the whole price; nothing is added at checkout
  • Scholarship students pay nothing — the fund covers the tutor’s rate

Step four

Learn on the platform

Lessons, shared resources and progress in one place.

Once lessons begin, everything lives on the learning platform: your bookings, messages with the tutor, the shared resources they run each session, and progress notes. Students, parents and tutors each get their own dashboard on the platform — head to the learning platform to sign in. Parents follow along — what was covered, what’s next, and how it’s going.

  • Ready-to-run resources shared for each session
