Four steps. You can do the first one right now, without an account: browse the directory and see who teaches what you need.

Find and compare tutors

Browse first; make an account when you’re ready to book.

Search by subject and year level, then set a price range and choose online or face-to-face. Each profile shows the tutor’s verified checks and experience, plus the rate they set. See what a profile shows.

  • Narrow by year level and subject, then by price and availability
  • Every tutor is checked before they appear: WWCC, ID, qualifications
  • Rates are tutor-set and shown up-front — 1:1 from $30/hr, group places from $15/hr per student

Book your lesson

Pick the time; the platform holds everything else.

Choose a slot from the tutor’s availability, online or face-to-face. Every lesson with a student under 18, online or face-to-face, needs a parent or guardian present. You confirm this at booking, and it’s in our Terms.

Choosing online? The lesson is recorded, for safety and quality. You confirm you understand that at booking; the recording stays private to you and your tutor, and for an under-18 the parent or guardian joins the online room as a viewer. Face-to-face lessons aren’t recorded.

Prefer a scholarship place? Eligible students apply through the platform and learn at no cost, covered by the scholarship fund.

Pay the rate, nothing more.

You pay the tutor’s advertised rate through Stripe, and that’s the whole transaction: no booking fee and no subscription. Scholarship students pay nothing at all. The pricing page shows worked examples.

Learn on the platform

Bookings, messages, resources and progress notes, all behind one login.

Once lessons start, the work lives on the learning platform. The tutor runs each session from shared resources you can open again later, writes a progress note afterwards, and messages you in the same place. Students, parents and tutors each get their own dashboard — head to the learning platform to sign in.

  • Ready-to-run resources shared for each session

  • Recordings of online lessons appear on the lesson page, visible to you and your tutor only

What you’ll actually pay

The number on a tutor’s profile is the number on your card. No booking fee, no subscription. If it isn’t working, stop after one lesson.

  • Every rate is set by the tutor, shown before you book
  • We add nothing at checkout — your card is charged the profile rate
  • No tutor can pay us for a better spot in search results
  • A parent or guardian sits in on every lesson with an under-18
